Based at our Oasis of Sutjeska outdoor center, located close to Hrcavka Canyon, this guided experience makes exploring the wild beauty of the canyon convenient and memorable.
* Your adventure begins at our outdoor center, where your guide provides all the necessary canyoning equipment. After a scenic 30-minute walk down to the canyon, get ready for around two hours of water-based adventure, including jumps into natural pools, rope descents, natural water slides, a zip line, and swimming through the canyon.
* After completing the canyoning route, you will return to our Oasis of Sutjeska center to change out of your equipment and relax after an unforgettable adventure. You can start from Foca or Tjentiste, with an approximate drive of 50 minutes from Foca or 20 minutes from Tjentiste to the canyoning starting area.

What to Expect on the Hrcavka Canyoning Tour
Hrcavka canyoning in Sutjeska National Park, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a great way to explore the canyon from the inside. You will walk down to the river, put on your canyoning gear and spend around two hours moving through the canyon with your guide.
We start at our Oasis of Sutjeska outdoor center, located close to Hrcavka Canyon. After meeting your guide and getting equipped, we walk for about 30 minutes down to the river. Inside the canyon, you can expect jumps into the water, rope descents, natural slides, a zip line and swimming. Your guide will explain what to do at each section and help you through the route.
We use quality canyoning equipment from specialist brands including Vade Retro, Cressi and Petzl. Before entering the canyon, your guide will explain how to use the equipment and go over the instructions for the activity.
The whole experience takes around 4–5 hours, including getting equipped, walking down to the canyon and the canyoning itself. When we finish, we return to our Oasis of Sutjeska center to change. You can arrange your start from Foca or Tjentiste. Drive to the canyoning starting point takes around 50 minutes from Foca or 20 minutes from Tjentiste.

Hrcavka Canyon Canyoning Itinerary
The Hrcavka canyoning tour in Sutjeska National Park, Bosnia and Herzegovina, takes around 4–5 hours, including transport from Tjentiste, equipment preparation, the walk down to the canyon and the canyoning activity. Here is what to expect from the moment you arrive at our Oasis of Sutjeska outdoor center until the end of the tour.
Departure from Oasis of Sutjeska
We meet at our Oasis of Sutjeska outdoor center in Tjentiste, where your guide prepares the canyoning equipment and explains the basic safety instructions. We then drive for around 20 minutes to the starting point of the Hrcavka canyoning route.
Walk Down to Hrcavka Canyon
From the starting point, we walk downhill for approximately 30 minutes to reach the river. This is where the canyoning adventure begins.
Canyoning in Hrcavka Canyon
Spend around 2-3 hours exploring Hrcavka Canyon with your guide. Along the route, you will encounter water jumps, rope descents, natural slides, a zip line and swimming sections. Your guide will explain how to approach each part of the route and help you along the way.
Return to Oasis of Sutjeska
After completing the canyoning route, we return to our outdoor center, where you can change out of your equipment and get ready for the rest of your day.
